I'm sorry I didn't post this earlier. I thought this link would take everyone to our new site which has been up and running for about a month now.

Team Crown Racing is pleased to announce a new marketing partner to our operation. Poet Bio refining has come on board for the 2009 season. It's always nice to welcome new partners to the team, and they'll be an excellent addition. I'll have more details soon as to our race schedule, and our new website should be up and running very soon!
We're looking for someone to take pictures for our website in our apparel. At this point, we'll see how many people are interested and figure out just who will represent our product on our new website! The winner will receive a few free shirts and a sweatshirt once the pictures have been taken. If you're interested, get ahold of me through email. jjohnson27@iw.net If possible, send a picture or two with your best t-shirt model pose also. I've posted this information on facebook as well, so hopefully we'll have a few selections to choose from and maybe even have a couple of models. We'll see what happens. Just so everyone knows, the pictures will be taken showing you wearing our shirts....such as a catalog photo. Please help us in this project!! Thank you!
Soon we will have a new website up and running. We will no longer be under the typepad banner once the site is up and running. It will simply be www.teamcrown.com! The site should still have some of the same features, but it will certainly be much more professional looking. I will be sure to give notice on here prior to the change. I'm pretty sure this will be up for a little while if you go directly to the typepad site, so we'll leave a note letting you know to change your link!
That being said, work is in full swing on getting the cars together for the upcoming season. One is almost completed and we'll be starting on the other in the coming few weeks. Our first race looks to be April 3rd at Park Jefferson Speedway, and the following weekend at I80 Speedway in Greenwood, NE. After those 2 dates we're still up in the air as far as a schedule goes. I believe we'll race at Jackson a little more, and try to hit some of the ASCS shows this year. I'm pretty sure we'll be running the full JSTS schedule if possible, and hitting Husets when the mood strikes (which should be regularly for the most part). Unless some sponsorship pops up that's lucrative enough for us to run someplace for points, we're not really planning on chasing points anywhere as of this time.
I'll keep in touch!
The Chili Bowl was a great time! Being gone for a week takes it's toll though, and it's nice to be home in your own bed again. Jody had his best finish to date in the F feature (which is top half of the field), which isn't bad considering there are probably 75 professional drivers there, and he's only raced a midget about 5 times ever!
We managed to make some connections down there. We're hoping for good things to come out of all of it, so we'll see!
If I hear anything, I'll be sure to pass it along as soon as possible!
It's about time for the biggest indoor race of the year! Jody will be racing in Tulsa at the Chili Bowl next week, and we're taking his stuff down there in our trailer. It should be a lot of fun! It's been 11 years since I last went to the Chili Bowl, and I know it's just gotten bigger every year. If you ever get the chance, check this race out sometime!
Husets held their annual banquet this past Saturday, and we picked up the hardware for winning the point championship. We were also surprised to accept the "Team of the Year" award! We worked hard this year and it was nice to be honored in that way. That award could have gone to anyone in that class. Everyone who races there weekly puts in alot of work, and it shows.
It was nice to be able to see some faces you only get to see during race season. There's so many good people involved in this sport, and that's one of the reasons we love doing what we do!
Hopefully we'll have a little more sponsor news in the near future....it's sounding promising in a few areas!
We're pleased to announce we've reached a deal with Awesome Racewear to outfit our team and driver with their gear! We're very excited about our new look for next year and this will complete the transformation of a new look. They have one of the best products in our industry, and I suggest checking them out at www.awesomeracewear.com. I've also added a link to our sponsor portion of the page! I hope for more news in the near future!
